What this privacy policy covers for the unlocked listening copy

The Android package is obtained from Google Play and installed on the handset. A private confession or a release note may be kept on that handset. Optional typed listening text may later be sent so a model can answer.

In this notice, Whispr means the Google Play package that runs on Android. The controller means CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED. The postal address means Rm701,Unit108,7/F, Twr B New Mandarin Plaza 14 Science Museum Rd Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong. Privacy letters shall be sent to support@chenrihytrading.com. This privacy policy commences on 2026-09-25.

Whispr is offered only to persons 18 or older.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED shall process personal information connected with Whispr only as this notice records. The copy is a quiet listening space. A holder may type a private confession. The same copy may hold a release note that never leaves the handset. There is no public feed, no romance feature, and no lecture track.

Whispr does not ask for sign-in before you type a private confession, because the release note remains a local file on the unlocked phone.

A typed confession sent so Whispr can listen carries no subscription.

Whispr does not read an advertising identifier, including an AAID, because listening replies are not paid for with ads.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED does not sell personal information processed for Whispr. Write support@chenrihytrading.com if you wish to opt out of selling. The same mail may carry a do-not-sell request.

The practices described in this notice are meant to stay consistent with the disclosures already published for Whispr on Google Play.

This notice addresses mailbox letters; hosted legal pages opened from Whispr; typed listening text sent so a model can answer; and the installed Android copy. Pages you visit in a separate browser are outside this notice, even though CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED remains the controller. Whispr has no map feature, so location stays unused. Short video capture is unused because the package does not record clips.

Because Whispr never opened a hosted login, there is no account-deletion flow. Removing the package or clearing its storage deletes local files. Material that actually reached CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED is handled through support@chenrihytrading.com.

Result of Camera and Microphone grants on this copy

The result of a Camera grant is a quiet still stored on the handset you already hold. That result appears only after an explicit tap. A reread of a prior release note does not place Camera in the background. Revoke Camera under Android Settings; later stills then stop. Typed release notes continue. If you withhold the grant, no new still is created and the rest of the listening copy still works.

Microphone yields a spoken confession that sits on the same handset, and only after an explicit tap. Microphone is not in the background between finished notes. Android Settings is the place to revoke Microphone; capture then ends while typed release notes still work. If Microphone is refused, no new spoken confession is recorded; typed notes still work.

For greater certainty, neither grant runs while the package sits idle. Voice audio remains on the handset. A still created after a Camera tap remains on the handset.

Personal information obtained locally and records that leave

Personal information, as used here, means information that identifies, or is reasonably capable of identifying, a natural person, together with the confession text a holder elects to transmit.

Other user-generated content means the typed listening text you elect to transmit so the model can answer. Electing to transmit that text is optional. A draft left on the handset is not treated as a transmit. Only the wording you choose to let leave is treated as Other user-generated content.

A quiet still created with Camera, or picked from the system gallery, remains on the handset. Whispr does not disclose that still. For greater certainty, a still is not Other user-generated content.

A spoken confession captured through Microphone stays on the handset. Whispr does not disclose that waveform.

App activity on this copy is a set of release caches, such as the last local note you opened. Those caches remain on the handset. Clearing storage or removing the package drops them.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED holds no remote copy of a confession note that never left the phone. The only categories that leave are the typed listening text sent to that provider and those logs written at the host when a legal page opens.

Readers sitting in the Union or the EEA may fall under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For those readers, the grounds below operate as legal bases when the GDPR applies. Each ground is tied to a real Whispr operation.

Performance of a contract is the basis for delivering a listening reply after optional listening text is transmitted, and for fetching a hosted text the holder asked to open.

A limited legitimate interest supports closing mailbox correspondence sent to support@chenrihytrading.com about a confession note.

A legal obligation may keep a mailbox ticket when a competent authority writes about material we already hold.

Cross-border movement of personal information is limited to the HTTPS call that carries elected listening text and the HTTPS call that loads a hosted text the holder requested.

Where listening text and hosted-page logs go

Opening a legal page from the unlocked Whispr copy places HTTPS server logs with a hosting provider. Opening the terms of use from the same copy produces those logs at the host, and this privacy policy, when that page is requested, is logged in the same class of record. After you elect to transmit typed listening text, a generative AI provider receives conversation content and user prompts in order to return model replies; a quiet still is not packed with that request, and a spoken confession is not packed with that request. Only the host and the model vendor see a leaving copy of typed listening text or of a legal-page request that leaves this quiet listening space.

Retention of each class of record

How long a record remains depends on whether it sits on the handset, travels as elected listening text, or is written as a host log.

Local confession notes, Camera stills, Microphone audio, and App activity caches remain on the handset until uninstall or a wipe of that storage.
Typed sends are kept by the model vendor only to reply.
Those logs follow the host's own schedule.
Mailbox letters that CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED actually received are reviewed within 15 business days after we can identify the writer, and are then closed unless a statute requires a longer hold.

A still already copied into another album on the phone follows that album's clock. CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED cannot reach that album from Whispr.

Technical measures and organisational limits

Technical steps and staff steps operate together.

Outbound paths use HTTPS. Access to mailbox letters that actually arrived is limited to persons who need those letters to answer a privacy request. Host records sit with the host under that party's own access rules. Model packets sit with that provider under that party's own access rules.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED cannot promise that any network path is free of residual risk. Write the published mailbox if a letter that reached us appears mishandled.

Erasure, a portable copy, rectification, then inspection

Erasure of personal information we hold is available through the mailbox. A portable copy of that same material may be requested in the same letter. Inspection of what arrived follows the same channel.

You may request correction, which means rectification, of inaccurate or incomplete personal information. Write support@chenrihytrading.com to submit that request. We may ask enough questions to confirm that the letter comes from the person it names. A reply is usually sent within 15 business days after we can tell who wrote.

Local files are dropped by uninstall or by a storage wipe. There is no remote wipe of a still that stayed on the handset. A spoken confession that remained local is likewise outside remote wipe.

Rights described here do not require a hosted login. The mailbox is the channel for material CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED actually received.

California and Virginia questions mapped to one mailbox

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). A California resident may request a report that states whether we collect or share personal information. We do not share that personal information for ads. The same mailbox, support@chenrihytrading.com, is the channel for that report and for a do-not-sell request.

The California mailbox path does not change for Virginia readers. Because Whispr does not run targeted advertising, sale, or profiling, those Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) activities remain unused; write support@chenrihytrading.com if you still wish to refuse a sale.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED does not sell personal data produced by a confession note. The mailbox path for opting out of selling remains available even though no sale is run.

European Economic Area duties and the officer heading

When the GDPR applies, the legal bases already stated are the bases on which CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED relies. You may lodge a complaint. The addressee is a supervisory authority seated in the EEA, selected by residence, by workplace, or by the place of the alleged infringement.

Data Protection Officer correspondence for this controller

There is no separately named data protection officer. Correspondence that would otherwise go to that officer uses support@chenrihytrading.com.

Which readers may keep a confession note, and guardian mail

A minor who has not attained eighteen must not use Whispr.

CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED does not, with knowledge, collect personal information from a reader under 18.

Whispr remains a quiet listening space in which a grown holder types a private confession or keeps a release note; that listening work was not designed for children. Play listing sentences that describe unlocking a confession or rereading a release note address those grown holders, so they are not marketed to a child audience. A later reread of a release note is not directed at children, because the screen remains a private confession file on the unlocked copy. Those release-note screens carry no child-focused features; they only let a grown holder sit with wording already typed. Children's sensitive identifiers and biometric data are not taken.

A parent or guardian who uses support@chenrihytrading.com may request access to children's information that actually arrived, request deletion of that material, and request stopping processing of it.

If a guardian believes a minor submitted something the operator actually received, use the same mailbox. Files that never left a handset are removed by uninstall or by wiping storage on that handset.

Minors must not use Whispr.

Replacement of this privacy policy

When a fresher dated text is posted inside Whispr, that text governs later reading of this privacy policy. The date printed on the newer file is the date that controls. Keeping a confession note on the installed copy after that date means the newer wording applies to later use.

If a change narrows a right you already have under this edition, CHEN RIHY TRADING LIMITED will keep the older, wider right for material already received unless a statute requires a different hold.
